Carpenters (Levels 1, 2, 3 & Red Seal Journeyman)

We are seeking skilled, safety-conscious, and dedicated Carpenters across all experience levels—from Level 1 Apprentices to Certified Journeymen—to join our team. You will work on varied construction projects involving formwork, framing, envelope, and finishing.

What you will be doing as a Carpenter:

Depending on your skill level and certification, duties will include:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Constructing, erecting, and stripping concrete forms, footings, walls, and slabs.
- Framing interior and exterior walls, joists, subflooring, and roof trusses.
- Installing roofing systems, siding, sheathing, and exterior enclosures.
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, light-gauge steel, and composite materials.
- Operating hand and power tools, man-lifts, and specialized construction equipment safely.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free job site at all times.
- Journeymen: Leading work crews, mentoring apprentices, conducting layout tasks, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

What you should have as a Carpenter:

Experience & Certification

- Journeyman Carpenter:
- Provincial Red Seal Carpenter Certificate (or equivalent recognized journeyman ticket).
- Minimum of 6 years of direct carpentry experience.




- Apprentice Carpenters (Levels 1, 2, & 3):
- Registered apprentice status or equivalent field experience corresponding to your level.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and advance through the carpentry trade.

Skills & Assets

- Practical experience in concrete forming, framing, and roofing is strongly preferred.
- Solid mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and mathematical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Safety Tickets & Certifications (Preferred / Assets)

- Working at Heights / Fall Protection
- Aerial Work Platform / Man-lift certification
- Swing Stage certification
- Standard First Aid & CPR

What you will receive in return as a Carpenter:

- Level 1 Apprentice: $23.55 / hour
- Level 2 Apprentice: Competitive rate (scaled to experience/apprentice level)
- Level 3 Apprentice: Competitive rate (scaled to experience/apprentice level)
- Journeyman Carpenter: ~$37.69 / hour (based on experience and certification)
