Summary

Local concrete forming company is looking to add a working concrete forming Forman to our team. This position requires a hands-on trade leader, who, is able to manage a crew on a job site while actively participating in building, setting, and stripping concrete forms

Core Responsibilities.

- Crew Supervision: Assign daily tasks, direct form builders, and work alongside the crew to keep production on schedule.
- Formwork Installation: Build and set wooden, metal, gang, or crane-set forms for footings, walls, decks, parkades, or high-rise structures. Also stairs,bleachers, retaining walls and radius form work.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret architectural drawings, structural layouts, and shop plans to ensure forms match exact dimensions and elevations.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce local safety regulations—such as WorkSafeBC guidelines—including fall protection,



rigging, and site housekeeping.
- Coordination: Sync with project managers, superintendents, and other trades (such as rebar placers, plumbers, and crane operators) to avoid job site bottlenecks.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Generally, 5+ years of hands-on experience in concrete formwork, with proven time leading a crew. Have adequate transportation to travel from site to site when needed.
- Tickets & Training: Valid fall protection, rigging/signalling, and Occupational First Aid (Level 1 or higher) tickets.
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with up-to-date forming equipment.
