Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, well organized, and capable of working efficiently in a busy community pharmacy environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
- Prepare prescription orders, including counting, packaging, and labelling medications.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Provide friendly, professional, and high-quality customer service to patients.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including stock monitoring and organization.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other pharmacy team members.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Pharmacy Technician licence is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Canadian pharmacy setting.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with the Kroll Pharmacy Management System.
- Excellent computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
