THE JOB

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Labourers to join our team with the National Diabetes Trust, the operations arm of Diabetes Canada. In this role, you will help load, unload, move, and sort donated clothing and household items between inventory and shipping containers. You will also assist with general cleanup as required.

As part of the team, you'll help divert millions of kilograms of donated items from Canadian landfills while supporting Diabetes Canada's mission. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be able to lift 30–50 pounds and be comfortable with physical work throughout their shift.



CSA-approved steel-toed boots and safety gloves are required. Dress in layers to prepare for changing weather conditions, and be sure to bring your own food and water. During the summer months, staying hydrated and applying sunscreen regularly are especially key.
