This Investigator role supports store security, operations, and sales teams. You will observe floor activity, analyze transactional reporting, conduct point-of-sale audits, and respond to emergencies. The position also requires accurate records, compliance follow-up, and privacy awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV systems and dispatch responses
- Identify dishonest persons during routine floor walks
- Apprehend shoplifters and maintain apprehension records
- Conduct confidential internal investigations and point-of-sale audits
- Support inventory counts, shortage programs, and unsaleables
Requirements:
- College degree
- Two to three years in a similar capacity
- Retail workplace experience
- Kinesic interviewing or interrogation training
- OPA Level II, first aid, CPR, and provincial guard license
