This Lead Carpenter supervises, coordinates, and schedules workers while completing finishing carpentry tasks. The work includes reading blueprints, constructing high-end kitchen cabinets, resolving technical problems, and maintaining quality. You will also organize supplies, tools, equipment, and work schedules for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and schedule workers on job sites and in the shop
- Read blueprints and calculate project requirements
- Construct, finish, and install cabinets on site
- Resolve work problems and recommend productivity improvements
- Train workers and coordinate required training

Requirements:

- Secondary school completion is required
- Three to five years of finishing carpentry experience
- Previous supervisory experience is required
- Valid driver's licence and English language ability
- Red Seal or Skilled Trades certificate is an asset
