Looking for a hands-on role that combines shop work, outdoor work, and travel? Avery HR is hiring a dependable General Labourer to support servicing operations at various job sites throughout Central Ontario. This position involves indoor and outdoor work, travel to different locations, and occasional out-of-town assignments. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has mechanical aptitude, and is comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with service and maintenance work.
- Perform general shop and labour duties.
- Use hand tools, equipment, and material-handling machinery.
- Travel to job sites and work outdoors as required.
- Follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous related experience.
- Valid G driver's license.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with travel and outdoor work.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well with others.
Assets
- Experience operating forklifts or other equipment.
- Mechanical, maintenance, or repair experience.
- Relevant safety training or certifications.
