Job Summary

As a Food Counter Attendant, prepare and serve food, process customer orders, and maintain a clean, welcoming counter. You’ll support smooth service by working efficiently, handling transactions accurately, and following safe food practices.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food, handle food safely, and follow food safety and sanitation practices throughout each shift.
- Welcome customers, take orders, use POS systems to process payments, and apply cash-handling and basic math skills accurately.
- Keep the counter and work areas clean, manage time during busy periods, and suggest relevant items when appropriate.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service colleagues to keep orders moving and provide attentive customer service.
- Your impact: Accurate, timely service helps customers enjoy their meals and enables colleagues to work smoothly.

Requirements

Required:



Practical food preparation, food handling, sanitation, food safety, cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, basic math, time management, and customer service capabilities support daily duties. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience is helpful, as is familiarity with Micros POS and confidence with appropriate upselling. Multilingual candidates with 2-3 years of food industry experience is an asset.

Pay: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
