The Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides respectful, person-centred assistance that supports clients’ daily routines, comfort, and independence. The role may involve care in home, assisted living, or nursing home settings, adapting support to each individual’s needs and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily activities, including meal preparation, while promoting dignity and independence.
- Support medication administration according to established care plans and procedures.
- Provide attentive senior care and dementia care, including support for individuals with disabilities.
- Maintain clean, safe living spaces and communicate relevant observations to the care team.

Skills
Required: Practical caregiving, clear communication, patience, and attention to individual needs support protected daily assistance, meal preparation, cleaning, and accurate communication with colleagues. Preferred: Assisted living experience, nursing home experience, senior care, dementia care, medication administration, home care, and experience working with individuals with disabilities are valuable strengths for adapting support to varied care settings.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
