Job Summary

Join Mary Brown’s in a full-time or part-time restaurant position, where you will be responsible for food preparation and customer service. Help provide a positive dining experience by taking orders correctly, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring effective daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food while following company procedures and maintaining proper food safety, handling, and sanitation standards.
- Take customer orders through POS systems, including Micros POS when required, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Deliver friendly and helpful customer service by answering questions, assisting customers with their choices, and recommending additional menu items when appropriate.
- Maintain clean, organized kitchen and service areas while managing time effectively.
- Use basic math skills to process orders, calculate payments, and handle transactions.




- Work cooperatively with team members to maintain smooth operations, especially during busy periods.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to operate POS systems and process customer payments.
- Cash handling and basic mathematical skills.
- Good time management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food service, restaurants, kitchens, or the food industry.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or other restaurant payment systems.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to recommend menu items and promote additional products to customers.

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 80.0 per week
