Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialis t to join an Oil & Gas organization in Rocky View County on a contract basis. This role combines full-cycle accounts payable with front-desk support, requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt and processing through to payment and record maintenance.
Review PO and non-PO invoices, verify supporting documentation, and ensure accurate coding.
Complete three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records.
Prepare electronic payments and cheques, reconcile vendor accounts, and investigate outstanding items.
Liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, approval delays, and payment inquiries.
Process approximately 500–700 invoices monthly while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
Welcome visitors, coordinate site access, and manage visitor sign-in procedures.
Maintain organized AP records and provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Requirements:
Previous accounts payable experience, including invoice processing, account coding, and payment administration.
Strong understanding of full-cycle AP procedures, including three-way matching, vendor reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
Experience with ERP or accounting systems; SAP experience is considered an asset.
Ability to manage both PO and non-PO invoices in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, welcoming approach to reception duties.




Basic Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems.
Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
