A family owned business based in the Caledonia which provides inputs (seed, fertilizer, crop protection products) and custom application services to growers in the Norfolk, Niagara, Haldimand and Hamilton-Wentworth areas. We are looking for a hardworking, resourceful and results-driven individual for a full time, permanent Agricultural Sales position.

Job Details:

- Develop and grow a defined sales territory by building and maintaining strong customer relationships with growers and prospects
- Drive sales of seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and related services while supporting overall business profitability
- Work with customers to develop crop plans and recommend products and solutions that improve their profitability
- Provide practical product and application guidance based on accurate, label-directed information
- Support customers by interpreting soil and tissue analysis results and identifying product opportunities through company services
- Collaborate effectively with the agronomy and sales team to maximize service, product knowledge, and sales results for growers
- Maintain robust knowledge of company products, services, pricing, and programs
- Represent the company professionally with growers, dealers, and the community

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in agriculture and/or a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in agricultural or crop input sales are strong assets.
- Strong ability to relate to people, build relationships, and promote products
- Must be a team player
- Willingness to travel and work in a rural environment
- A valid driver’s license
- The Certified Crop Advisor designation is an asset
