New day services provides quality care to youth in the foster care system under the Ministry of Children and Families
We're interested in hiring individuals who have experience working with difficult youth in a variety of home care settings. We're looking for candidates who have strong interpersonal skills, an ability to follow directions, and are compassionate. The care home has 2 teenage boys and is a detached house.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as administering medication, meal preparation, cleaning, and transportation to address medical problems or appointments.
- Assist in planning activities that will encourage patients to become more independent and build life skills
- Provide a safe and nurturing home environment for the youth
- Conflict resolution and behaviour management
- Recording events in daily logs and filling out reports.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
