Overview

The Janitor/Concierge helps keep shared spaces clean, orderly, and welcoming while providing practical assistance to people using the facilities. This hands-on role combines cleaning, routine facilities maintenance, and responsive service, helping colleagues and visitors enjoy a safe, well-maintained setting.

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain common areas, surfaces, and facilities using appropriate methods and care.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks, identify issues, and report repairs that need further attention.
- Welcome visitors, respond courteously to questions, and direct people to the appropriate areas or support.
- Monitor shared spaces and supplies, keeping areas presentable and communicating facility concerns to colleagues.

Experience

Required: Practical cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to carry out routine maintenance tasks while keeping shared spaces orderly. Clear, courteous communication and a dependable approach help you support visitors and work effectively with colleagues. Preferred: Experience with commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or related maintenance work is an advantage, along with confidence responding to varied requests. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
