Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Receptionist

Kerrisdale Dental Centre is a fully digital practice with a comprehensive, health-focused approach to dentistry. We are looking for an experienced front-office professional who can do more than book appointments: someone who can explain treatment clearly, help patients feel confident about their care, and keep our schedule running smoothly.

In this role you will:

- Welcome patients and manage the front desk with warmth and composure
- Explain recommended treatments in plain, reassuring language and guide patients through treatment plans, estimates, and scheduling
- Coordinate closely with our dentists, hygienists, and assistants
- Manage the schedule, recalls, insurance billing, and follow-up on unscheduled treatment

You have:

- At least 2 years of dental reception experience, with real familiarity with dental procedures such as restorative, hygiene, Invisalign, endodontics, and implants and the confidence to explain them to patients.
- Comfort discussing treatment and fees with patients, including anxious ones
- Strong communication skills, especially with anxious patients




- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Proven accuracy with treatment posting, insurance billing, and payment reconciliation
- Reliability and ownership: this is a key front-desk role and we need someone we can count on
- Experience with Tracker (an asset)

Hours: Full time; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8am - 5pm with and hour for lunch. Thursday: 7-4 with an hour for lunch.
Compensation: $32-38/hr, depending on experience, plus [perks]
