Job Overview

As Corporate Controller, you will own all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will oversee the books and also roll up your sleeves to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and provide the insight leadership needs to make decisions.

Responsibilities

- Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and month-end and year-end close
- Prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow) in accordance with GAAP
- Help lead the annual budget and forecasting process and report on budget-to-actual variances
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and credit facilities or lender compliance reporting
- Coordinate annual audits or reviews, tax filings, and relationships with external CPAs
- Oversee sales tax compliance and other regulatory filings
- Supervise and develop accounting staff (AP / AR)
- Provide financial analysis,



KPI reporting, and decision support to leadership
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems and automate manual processes

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a controller or accounting manager role
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing audits and working with external accountants
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financials to non-finance colleagues

Preferred

- CPA license
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and ERP implementations or upgrades

Pay: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
