Overview

The Overhead Door Technician installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs overhead door systems. This hands-on role involves using tools, interpreting technical information, and completing related construction tasks with care. You’ll help keep doors operating reliably and work areas orderly, supporting smooth day-to-day operations for customers and colleagues.

Duties

- Install and repair overhead doors, using hand tools and relevant schematics or blueprints to guide work.
- Inspect systems, identify issues, and complete appropriate maintenance and restoration tasks.
- Perform related work such as carpentry, drywall repair, caulking, construction painting.
- Keep work areas organized and communicate completed work or concerns to colleagues.

Required:



Practical ability to use hand tools, follow schematics or blueprints, and complete careful installation and repair work. Explicit communication, attention to detail, and safe, organized work habits support dependable service. Preferred: Construction experience, including carpentry, drywall, caulking, restoration, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying, is valuable. Your impact: Reliable repairs help customers use overhead doors safely and keep operations moving.

Pay: $23.00-$38.00 per hour
