Blades Driving School, based out of Camrose is looking to expand to markets throughout Alberta. If you are an already licensed class 5 Instructor with your own vehicle and your community is in demand , please reach out. Join our dynamic team as a Driving Instructor Class 5, where you will play a vital role in shaping confident, skilled drivers ready to navigate the roads safely. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise, mentor aspiring drivers, and contribute to community safety. As a Driving Instructor Class 5, you will deliver comprehensive driving lessons, assess learner progress, and ensure all training meets regulatory standards. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will inspire learners to develop safe driving habits and achieve their licensing goals.

Duties

- Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons for individuals seeking their Class 5 license, ensuring transparent understanding of road rules and safety protocols
- Assess learner drivers’ skills through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each learner’s experience level and learning style
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, progress reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with licensing authority requirements
- Communicate effectively with learners,



providing guidance on safe driving techniques and answering questions to build confidence
- Stay updated on current traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality instruction
- Support learners through the licensing process by preparing them for road tests and offering tips for success

Skills

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in driver education or classroom settings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of diverse backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and vehicle operation specific to Class 5 licensing requirements
- Ability to assess individual skill levels accurately and adapt instruction accordingly
- Demonstrated classroom experience or instructional background that enhances teaching effectiveness
- Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and lesson plans
- Passionate about promoting safe driving habits and community safety through professional instruction
