We are looking for a hands-on Technical Support & Field Service Specialist to join our Canadian headquarters in Aurora, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and industrial printing issues.
- Provide technical support to customers and international distributors through phone, email, remote sessions and onsite visits.
- Troubleshoot printers, controllers, printheads, sensors, encoders and related equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering and software development teams to resolve technical issues.

Field Service & Installation

- Install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain industrial inkjet printing equipment at customer facilities.
- Integrate printers with packaging and production lines, conveyors, PLCs, sensors, encoders and automation systems.
- Conduct customer demonstrations, application trials and operator training.
- Travel to customer sites across Canada as required.

International Travel & Distributor Support

- Travel internationally, particularly to the USA and South America, for installations, distributor training,



troubleshooting and exhibitions.
- Provide technical training and ongoing support to international distributors.
- Must be flexible to work across different international time zones to support customers, distributors and technical teams.
- International travel is an essential requirement of this position.

Product Development & Technical Documentation

- Work closely with MapleJet's Product Management Unit (PMU) and engineering teams.
- Provide technical feedback to improve products and applications.
- Develop training materials, troubleshooting guides and technical procedures.
- Support the development and maintenance of AI-powered technical support tools and knowledge bases.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial technical support, field service, applications engineering or equipment maintenance.
- Diploma or degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, electronic and software systems.
- Good understanding of industrial machinery and production-line equipment.
- Comfortable working with computer software, technical applications and remote support tools.




- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Strong English communication and customer training skills.
- Valid driver's licence and passport, with the ability to obtain required international travel authorizations.
- Ability to work primarily onsite at our Aurora office.
- Flexibility to support international customers and teams across different time zones.

Preferred Experience

- Industrial inkjet printing technologies such as TIJ, CIJ, CTIJ or DOD.
- Coding and marking, labeling and packaging machinery.
- PLCs, industrial automation, sensors, encoders and conveyor systems.
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
- Experience supporting international customers and distributors.
