Job Summary

As a Restaurant Team Member, support daily restaurant operations by preparing and serving food, assisting customers, and keeping service areas clean and organized. Work with the team to provide a welcoming, effective dining experience.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food while following food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Welcome customers, take orders using POS systems, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
- Answer questions, provide attentive customer service, and suggest relevant menu items through thoughtful upselling.
- Manage time effectively, use basic math for transactions, and keep kitchen and service areas orderly.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, safe food handling, sanitation, customer service, time management, basic math, and accurate cashiering and cash handling skills support daily duties. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience; familiarity with POS or Micros POS; and confidence with upselling are valuable strengths.

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
