Arcadia Landscape Group is looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to join our winter sidewalk snow removal team. This is a seasonal, on-call role that requires flexibility to work during snowfalls — including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Remove snow from sidewalks, pathways, stairs, and building entrances using shovels and small snow blowers.
- Spread salt or ice melt to maintain safe walking surfaces.
- Identify and communicate slippery or unsafe areas to your supervisor.
- Maintain professionalism, safety, and attention to detail at all times.
- Work effectively both on your own and as part of a team during winter operations.
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of handling outdoor winter work for long periods in cold and snowy conditions.
- Dependable and punctual, with the ability to respond promptly when snow events occur.
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset but not mandatory — training provided.
- Reliable transportation to and from Ayr, Ontario is required.
- CSA-approved winter work boots and appropriate outdoor gear are mandatory.
