Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, construction, and restoration projects. This role involves working on various building and renovation sites, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to create durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. The Mason will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction experience who are passionate about craftsmanship and building excellence.

Duties

- Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Mix mortar or concrete according to specifications for various applications
- Perform renovation tasks including caulking, sealing, and restoring existing structures




- Assist with the installation of architectural features such as arches, columns, or facades
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Experience

- Proven experience in masonry work or related construction fields is preferred
- Familiarity with construction processes including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is a plus
- Experience with renovation or restoration projects is desirable
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and general building restoration methods
- Construction experience involving the use of hand tools, power tools, and schematics is highly valued
- Prior work involving heavy equipment operation will be considered an asset

Pay: $28.00-$50.00 per hour
