Sun Dentistry is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Registered Denturist to join our dental team at our Lougheed clinic.
We are looking for a qualified Denturist with at least two years of clinical experience who is confident in providing denture services and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
The successful candidate must hold current and valid registration with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP) as a Denturist.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ oral health needs and develop appropriate denture treatment plans.
- Design, fabricate, fit, and deliver complete and partial dentures.
- Provide denture repairs, relines, rebasing, and adjustments.
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure proper fit, comfort, function, and aesthetics of dentures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients on denture care, maintenance, and oral hygiene.
- Work collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, and other team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must hold current and valid registration with the BCCOHP as a Denturist in British Columbia.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience working as a Denturist is required.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in providing complete and partial denture services.
- Experience with denture repairs, relines, and adjustments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused, detail-oriented, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a solid asset, but not required.
