Our Wholesale Division based out of our Warehouse in Burnaby is seeking a part time Cleaner. Our warehouse is based near the Production Way Skytrain Station in Burnaby.

Hours of work are 4pm - 7pm, Monday to Friday.

What You Will Do:

- Clean and sanitize meat room areas, including floors, walls, drains, cutting tables, equipment, and work surfaces.
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards to prevent contamination.
- Use approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectants according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Remove meat waste, packaging materials, and garbage in a protected and timely manner.
- Disassemble, clean,



and reassemble meat-processing equipment as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools, cleaning equipment, and storage areas.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including gloves, aprons, and safety footwear.
- Report equipment defects, spills, hazards, or sanitation issues to supervisors immediately.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations, including proper handling of sharp tools and heavy items.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks during shutdowns or after production shifts.

What You Have:

- Cleaner experience is an asset
- Some experience in food industry is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in person
- Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
- Ability to read and converse in English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Time management and problem solving skills

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
