Job Summary

The Wood sander/ Assembly role prepares components through sanding, assembly, inspection, and packaging. You’ll use hand tools and basic measuring methods to help deliver accurate, finished products and keep work moving smoothly for colleagues.

Responsibilities

- Sand and prepare wood components, assemble parts using hand tools, and follow work instructions.
- Read blueprints to understand dimensions and assembly requirements; use calipers and basic math to check measurements.
- Perform quality control checks, identify defects, and package completed items for handling or shipment.
- Maintain an orderly work area and coordinate with colleagues to support consistent manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

Required: Practical ability to use hand tools, complete assembly and sanding tasks,



read blueprints, measure with calipers, apply basic math, and check work quality. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing processes support protected, accurate work. Preferred: Warehouse experience and exposure to CNC equipment, CNC programming, CNC milling machines or lathes, Fanuc, programmable logic controllers, press brake machines, CAD or SolidWorks, welding, and forklift operation. Pay: $20.00 per hour
