Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, attentive Food Server to provide welcoming, effective service in a hospitality-focused dining environment.
- The role includes greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, answering menu questions, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining area.
- You’ll work closely with the kitchen and service team to support a positive guest experience from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, provide attentive customer service and guest services, and respond courteously to questions or concerns.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and process transactions.
- Serve meals promptly and check in with guests to ensure their needs are met.
- Describe menu items and accommodate requests within restaurant procedures; use appropriate upselling when helpful to guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to communicate orders, special requests, and timing.
- Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation practices,



including keeping service areas clean and orderly.
- Assist with basic food preparation or other service tasks as needed.
- Handle payments and receipts accurately, using cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills.
- Manage multiple tables and tasks with strong time management while maintaining a professional, hospitable approach.

Experience

- Previous food service experience, restaurant experience, or experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Experience with serving, hospitality, or guest-facing service is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems is helpful; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, sanitation, or kitchen experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform basic math and handle transactions accurately.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail are valued.

Pay: $15.35-$26.64 per hour
