Industrial Shop Labourer / Disassembly Technician
Wage: $22/hr to start
Location: South Edmonton AB
Temporary 2 Month full time position - 40 hours per week + overtime

Currently seeking a Shop Labourer / Industrial Equipment Disassembly Tech for our busy South Edmonton Clients Electric Motor Service Shop. This position would be involved with using power tools to disassemble electric motors/Generators/Transformers and other associated equipment, cleaning parts, inspecting/taking pictures, and assisting repair technicians when needed . Must have at least 2-3 years stable industrial shop experience and familiar with using a variety of hand and power tools.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Disassembly of Electric motors, Generators, and Transformer Equipment
- Cleaning and preparing parts for service
- Recording part numbers and taking pictures
- Moving materials around shop, assembling orders for clients, preparing goods for shipping team
- Load/Unload trucks with a forklift and overhead crane
- Assisting repair techs with reassembly and loading of equipment.
- Provide proper maintenance of equipment and keep work area clean and safe for customers and other employees.
- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per Receiving Procedures.
Requirements:
Strong Mechanical ability, and understanding of industrial equipment repair is an asset.
2-3 years of industrial shop experience required
Forklift license is an asset
