Who You Are

You are an experienced ICI project manager who takes ownership of a project from pre-construction through warranty. You keep clients informed, catch small problems before they become big ones, and follow through on what you commit to. You work well alongside superintendents, trades, and consultants, and you enjoy mentoring the people around you and building structures that shape our communities.

Essential Functions

- Manage multiple projects at once
- Support estimating, tendering, and RFP responses, including subtrade quote review
- Lead project execution while coordinating with owners, trade partners, building departments, architects, engineers, and vendors
- Act as the owner’s main point of contact and build strong client relationships
- Lead, monitor,



and manage construction execution with consultants, suppliers, and subtrades; chair trade meetings and issue minutes
- Manage subcontracts, purchasing, client billings, and contract administration
- Prepare cost reports and schedules, identify risks early, and put mitigation plans in place
- Price and coordinate change orders, site instructions, and RFIs; review, mark up, and process shop drawings
- Work with the Site Superintendent to keep work safe and compliant with OHSA and company safety standards
- Resolve site issues quickly and creatively while considering all stakeholders
- Maintain project logs and records
- Manage closeout and warranty
- Identify growth and training opportunities for yourself and your team, and mentor project coordinators and junior staff
- Travel to various job sites for regular visits
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- 5+ years of ICI construction management experience
- Gold Seal, CET, P.Eng, or PMP preferred, or working towards
- Diploma or degree in construction management, engineering technology, or engineering preferred
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail in costs, schedules, and documents




- Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and CCDC contracts
- Tech-savvy: proficient with Bluebeam, MS Office, and MS Project, and comfortable learning new construction software and tools
- Takes initiative and ownership of outcomes, and seeks increased responsibility
- Stays calm and professional under pressure
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record
- Ability to visit job sites regularly, including navigating ladders and stairs
