Lead Friedreich Ataxia medical strategy at Biogen from a hybrid Toronto office setting, applying scientific leadership and cross-functional expertise.

This Medical Lead position provides strategic direction within the affiliate and leads annual medical planning. You will translate patient needs, evidence gaps, and stakeholder insights into priorities aligned with regional and global strategy. The work spans evidence generation, scientific exchange, product lifecycle readiness, and medical education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute affiliate medical plans for Friedreich Ataxia
- Drive real-world, investigator-initiated, and company-sponsored evidence generation
- Lead expert engagement, advisory boards, and scientific consultations
- Prepare launch readiness, training, content,



and scientific communications
- Provide scientific direction to Medical Science Liaisons

Requirements:

- Advanced health or life sciences degree
- At least seven years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology Medical Affairs experience
- Experience developing and executing affiliate medical plans
- Solid regulatory, safety, legal, and compliance understanding
- English fluency and approximately thirty to forty percent travel
