We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Shared Nanny to provide compassionate caregiving and support for two wonderful toddlers in the respective family homes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about fostering growth, learning, and well-being in young minds. We are looking for a motivated and patient individual who can effectively care for both children while respecting each family's individual needs and preferences.
Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being at all times
- Engage children in educational activities, play, teaching moments, and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of both children at all times, whether at one family's home or during outings
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
- Good hygiene, diaper changing and potty training support, as needed
- Assist with naptime routines and ensure a restful sleep environment
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas
- Communicating effectively and regularly with both families regarding the children's day, any concerns, and developmental milestones
- Maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship with both families
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups in a caregiving or teaching capacity
- A genuine love for children and a patient, positive, and energetic attitude.
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Demonstrated caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and positive communication
- Ability to respect the privacy and individual needs of each family
- Knowledge of child development principles and effective teaching strategies
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with both families
- Criminal background check, CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record
- Studies in early childhood education or fluency in multiple languages would be preferred.
