The Certified Dental Assistant Level II will support patient care and clinic operations during a one-year maternity leave. This role combines dental assisting with administrative coordination, helping patients feel informed and supported while enabling colleagues to deliver organized, timely care.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 9am-1pm and 1 Saturday per month
Duties
- Assist with dental procedures, prepare treatment areas, and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
- Assist dentist during general restorative, surgical & endodontic procedures
- Tracker knowledge is considered an asset as well as tools to document care and support clinic workflows.
- HARP certified, process digital dental radiographs
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols, including sterilization, disinfection and proper instrument processing.
- Maintain accurate patient charts,
clinical notes and treatment documentation
- Assist with dental laboratory cases and ensure proper organization of incoming and outgoing lab work
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked and prepared for efficient patient care.
Skills Required:
- Practical dental assisting capabilities, clear patient communication, accurate documentation, and familiarity with medical/dental terminology support safe, organized care.
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting Program
- NDAEB certification, HARP certification or equivalent
This is a 1 year contract maternity leave, start date of Mid December 2026-January 2028
Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
