Job Summary

The Experienced Childcare Giver provides attentive, dependable care for children, supporting their learning, and well-being during after school hours. This hands-on role combines caregiving, teaching, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive care, supervise children, and support age-appropriate daily routines and activities.
- Teach and encourage children through engaging activities that support learning, communication, and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks, cook as needed
- Adapt caregiving and activities to individual needs

Experience

Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, clear communication, and the ability to supervise children, support learning,



prepare meals, and maintain clean spaces. Adaptability and attentiveness help you respond to children’s individual needs and keep routines safe and supportive. Ability to manage children's big emotions, and help facilitate calming routines.

Preferred: Experience working with children is valuable, as is experience supporting individuals with neurodivergences. Familiarity with cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, teaching, and caregiving can help you contribute confidently to children’s daily care and development.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 10.0 per week
