Fred Astaire Dance Studios Oakville are currently hiring full time dance instructors. Initial dance training and teaching methods are provided as well as continual advanced training.
Responsibilities
- Teach dance classes to students of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, choreography, and performance.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students while promoting group dynamics.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their dance abilities.
- Organize and participate in performances, events and competitions as needed.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for all students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during classes.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall curriculum and student experience.
Requirements
- Dance experience is an asset, but NOT required
- Able to be on your feet and moving for an entire day
- Interpersonal Communication / People Skills
- Transportation
