Red Seal Plumber - Water Filtration Installer (Subcontractor)

Mainland Water Pros is seeking a Red Seal plumber for paid, project-based water filtration installations in single-family homes. Individual owner-operators running their own plumbing business are preferred. The work covers whole-home carbon filtration and under-sink, tank-based reverse osmosis systems.

Service area: Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Delta, Current Westminster and the Township of Langley. Applicants may specify which locations they serve; full coverage is not required. Langley City is excluded and Abbotsford is not part of this opening.

An independent subcontract arrangement is proposed, subject to review of the actual working relationship and agreed terms. Each project and its schedule will be mutually agreed. No minimum hours, installation volume or fixed start date is guaranteed.

Compensation: CAD 100/hour for approved subcontract work. Billable time, each job’s labour cap, approved extras and payment terms will be agreed before work.

Responsibilities: assess site and equipment compatibility; flag unsafe conditions,



permit needs and scope changes; install to manufacturer instructions and applicable requirements; complete startup, flushing, operational checks and leak testing; protect and clean the home; provide installation photos and records with required permissions; explain operation and maintenance. Workmanship and callback responsibilities agreed before engagement.

Requirements: verifiable Red Seal plumber qualification, relevant residential plumbing experience, proven whole-home carbon filtration and tank-based RO installation experience; own business, reliable truck and tools; own CGL at least CAD 2M before first work; WorkSafeBC registration, clearance and coverage status, separate owner personal coverage as applicable, business licences and job-specific permit responsibilities resolved before engagement.
