We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team and independently manage day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Prepare and file GST/HST returns and other required government remittances.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding invoices, and vendor payments.
- Assist with year-end accounting, audits, and coordination with external accountants.
- Maintain accurate inventory-related accounting records.
- Identify discrepancies and improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications





- Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (required).
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and GST/HST regulations.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping independently.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
- Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in wholesale, distribution, or inventory-based businesses is an asset.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
