Job Overview

As a Machine Builder / SERVICE POSITION in St Catharines, you will support equipment assembly, service work, and manufacturing tasks. This hands-on role involves using tools, interpreting technical information, and applying mechanical knowledge to complete work accurately and safely. This position is 4-6 week position possible extention

Duties

- Assemble and service mechanical equipment using hand tools and power tools, following schematics and blueprints.
- Perform machining and welding tasks as needed to support equipment builds and repairs.
- Use calipers to check measurements and confirm components meet specifications.
- Support material handling and warehouse activities, including forklift operation where applicable.

Qualifications

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, assembly ability, and confidence using hand tools and power tools are essential, along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics and use calipers for measurements. Preferred: Experience with machining, welding, manufacturing, forklift operation, or warehouse work is advantageous and can support effective contributions across build, service, and material-handling tasks.

Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
