We are looking for a dedicated and experienced General Manager to join our team and help lead daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food preparation and service while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records through POS systems (Micros POS experience is an asset).
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting with staff interviews and onboarding.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with management on scheduling, inventory control, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service management (required).
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Hospitality, hotel, or barista experience is an asset.
