Position: Early Childhood Educator - ECE On Call

We’re seeking dynamic, engaged, and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) who are passionate about shaping young children’s futures.

This on-call position offers flexible shifts, making it ideal for educators who want to balance work with study, family, or other commitments while still contributing to an exceptional learning experience at CEFA.

The CEFA educational system at Core Educational & Fine Arts (CEFA) Junior Kindergarten is one of today’s leading approaches to educating young children. Its rich academic content is designed to stimulate the child in many different ways, to optimize the natural development of the child’s brain. This wonderful approach facilitates learning experiences for children in areas such as mathematics, reading, writing, drama, science, visual arts, music, yoga and many more. It is based on the belief that children must be given the opportunity to learn and exercise their intellect in various forms, such as the expression of their creativity, reasoning, and sequential thinking. In the CEFA workplace, children have ample time to learn, play and express themselves in creative ways. Our full-day early learning and junior kindergarten programs at our schools are far beyond the typical childcare programs found throughout Canada.

- Skillfully assess and cater to the diverse needs of children, partnering with parents and colleagues to ensure optimal development.

Your Qualifications:

- Certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE )
- Preferably one (1) years of child care or teaching experience
- First Aid/ CPR and Food Safety Basics certified.
- Well-versed in Alberta Child Care Health & Safety regulations.




- Familiarity with Montessori and Reggio Emilia methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent at prioritizing and managing time effectively.
- Bachelor's degree / registered student in Child Studies / Early Learning & Child care / Education / Psychology
- Background in Yoga, Music, STEM are an asset
- Fluency in European or Chinese languages an asset

Work Conditions:

- Engage in various physical activities like sitting, standing, walking, bending, etc.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail.

Pay: $17.30-$18.00 per hour
