InsideOut Services is hiring dependable individuals for our residential sidewalk snow crew.
This is not a “when it’s convenient” position.
When it snows, we work. Our customers rely on us to show up every time.

What This Job Actually Looks Like
- On-call during snowfall (November – April 15)
- Early morning starts (typically 6:00 AM)
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Shifts range from 6–12 hours depending on snowfall
- Working outdoors in cold, wind, and heavy snow
Who This Is For
This position is ideal for someone who:
- Has a flexible schedule during winter
- Can wake up early without issue
- Understands that reliability matters
- Wants to be part of a professional, accountable team
- Is physically capable of repetitive shovelling in winter conditions
Who This Is NOT For
This role will not be a good fit if you:
- Struggle waking up early
- Have frequent schedule conflicts
- View snow days as optional
- Have a history of missing shifts
We operate as a team. One no-show affects dozens of customers.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone for communication
- Ability to work the full winter season (weather permitting)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Previous snow experience is an asset, but reliability is more important.
Pay
- We offer a minimum 10 hours a week of pay regardless of if it snows or not. Stipulations apply (regular attendance when it does snow).
- Opportunity for additional hours during large storms
- Potential cross-training into lawn care or equipment roles depending on performance.
