As a Drywall Installer, you will install interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools. The work includes securing sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, attaching lath, and cutting service openings. You will finish corners, angles, and surfaces while working in dusty environments and at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install metal stud framing and furring for walls and ceilings
- Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs
- Position and secure sheets to studs or joists
- Cut openings for piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
- Finish corners, angles, and decorative designs when required
Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- One to less than seven months of experience
- English language ability
- Comfort working at heights in dusty environments
- Flexibility, reliability, and team orientation
Use framing, lath, drywall, and finishing techniques to complete onsite construction work across diverse commercial and industrial settings.
