Support children’s development as an Early Childhood Educator in an onsite child care centre, using creativity, communication, and program planning skills.

This position requires English and a one- to two-year college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma. Candidates need one to less than seven months of experience, an Early Childhood Education Certificate, and CECE membership. First Aid and CPR Certificates are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop programs supporting children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Lead stories, songs, crafts, and creative activities
- Guide eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Submit written observations to educators or supervisors
- Maintain environments protecting children’s health, security, and well-being

Requirements:

- English language proficiency
- One to less than seven months of experience
- CECE membership and Early Childhood Education Certificate
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Immunization records and vulnerable sector check
