Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the overall wellness of our clients through therapeutic massage

Duties

- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and any areas of concern.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
- Document client sessions accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes using appropriate medical terminology.




- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness center setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service in a professional environment
