We’re building a new restaurant from the ground up, and we’re looking for passionate, hardworking, and curious people to join our kitchen team.

Our restaurant is a Japanese-inspired cold bar with a focus on sushi, seafood, wine, and sake. At the heart of the restaurant is a two-chef story, and we’re excited to bring together a team that wants to be part of building this recent chapter with us.

The Role

As a Sushi / Line Cook & Kitchen Support team member, you’ll work closely with our chefs and kitchen team to help prepare and execute service.

Depending on your experience and strengths, your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting with sushi and cold food preparation.
- Supporting line cooking and daily service.
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with prep before service.
- Following recipes, preparation methods, and chef direction.
- Maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
- Assisting with plating and presentation.
- Helping with receiving, organizing, and storing ingredients.




- Keeping workstations clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Following proper food handling, cleanliness, and kitchen safety practices.
- Working closely with the chefs and other kitchen team members to keep service running smoothly.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties.
- Supporting the kitchen wherever needed during busy service.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous kitchen, line cook, or sushi experience is preferred.
- Sushi experience is an asset, but not required.
- Beginners with passion, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn are welcome.
- Genuine interest in Japanese cuisine, sushi, seafood, and cooking.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Comfortable taking direction and working closely with chefs and teammates.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Availability

We’re looking for team members who are available to work a combination of weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience and interview.
