Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicle on a fixed rout. the truck is a 10 speed manual transmission and the applicants must have 10 speed experience.
Duties
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to various locations according to scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered on the road.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Skills
- ability to drive a 10 speed manual transmission
- Proven experience driving heavy vehicles with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when loading or unloading cargo.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and dispatchers.
- Physical stamina and alertness required for long hours on the road. This position is vital for maintaining efficient logistics operations and requires a dedicated professional committed to safety and reliability.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
