Job Overview

As a Store Associate, you’ll support customers throughout their shopping experience, from product questions and demonstrations to checkout. You’ll help maintain an organized, appealing store and contribute to sales through attentive service and relevant product recommendations.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, identify their needs, explain product features, and provide product demos to support informed decisions.
- Process purchases and payments using POS systems, handle cash accurately, and complete cashiering tasks.
- Support retail sales, inside sales, and outside sales activities; use negotiation, upselling, and account management to build customer relationships.
- Maintain merchandising and organizational standards, and assist with marketing activities and product guidance related to renovation or construction.

Skills

Required: Communication skills, customer service, English, basic math, cash handling, and POS skills help you assist customers, process transactions, and keep store tasks organized. Preferred: Retail sales, high-end sales, construction experience, renovation knowledge, outside or inside sales, negotiation, product demos, upselling, account management, marketing, merchandising, multilingual abilities, and familiarity with SketchUp or CAD can strengthen product support and sales.

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
