Build practical structural design experience with Stantec in Victoria, British Columbia, through an in office co-op beginning January 2027.
As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will join Stantec’s Vancouver Buildings group for a four- or eight-month term. The placement offers hands-on work alongside experienced practitioners, supporting analysis and design for industrial structures. Projects include transit maintenance centres, chemical storage, shipyards, and government facilities, alongside report writing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis assistance for diverse structural projects
- Support design work for industrial structures
- Work across transit, chemical, shipyard, and government facilities
- Assist with reports and other project documents
Requirements:
- Be completing third year of Civil Engineering studies
- Attend an accredited university Bachelor’s program
- Maintain a Structural Engineering focus
- Demonstrate structural analysis software competency or interest
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with teams
Develop structural engineering capabilities through analysis, design, and reporting assignments within Stantec’s Buildings practice.
