Apply cryogenic insulation in Kitimat with Brock Canada, using PIR/PUR foam, Foamglas, Cryogel, and specialized injection equipment.
This senior applicator position supports industrial LNG projects through complex insulation installation and equipment reliability. You will read drawings, specifications, P&IDs; where applicable, and manufacturer requirements. The work also includes foam quality verification, crew support, troubleshooting, and maintenance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install cryogenic insulation systems rated to -162°C or colder
- Read drawings and determine insulation configurations and requirements
- Operate and inspect Graco Reactor 3 E-30 equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment systems
- Direct crews and verify foam quality through testing
Requirements:
- At least three years installing specified cryogenic insulation systems
- At least three years operating foam injection equipment
- At least three years repairing trailer-mounted equipment systems
- At least three years verifying foam quality through testing
- Two years supporting insulation crews on industrial LNG projects
