We are seeking dedicated Warming Centre Staff to join our team in Red Deer for the winter season. This role is essential in providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for individuals seeking shelter overnight. Employment Details

· Duration: November 15, 2026 - March 31 2027

· Location: Red Deer, Alberta

· Wage: $22.00 per hour

· Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off), 7am - 7pm

Key Responsibilities

· Welcome and assist guests upon arrival and throughout the night

· Monitor the safety and well-being of all individuals at the centre

· Maintain a respectful and inclusive setting

· Support guests with basic needs, such as refreshments, blankets, and information

· Follow centre protocols and procedures for emergencies and incidents

· Complete nightly reports and communicate with supervisors as required





· Light cleaning and tidying of common areas

Qualifications

· Previous experience in social services, shelter work, or customer service is an asset

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

· Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends

· Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred
