We are a busy family with 2 school-age kids and a new baby on the way this summer. I (mom) will be on maternity leave for the next year approximately and my husband works irregular hours doing shift work. Our home is centrally located in Lynn Valley within walking distance of transit, the library, community centre etc. For this role childcare would mainly consist of caring for the baby for short periods initially while parents are running errands/sleeping/dropping older kids off at school etc. Only occasionally would our nanny be required to care for all 3 children as our older kids are in school. We are looking for someone who is adaptable as our family needs change day-to-day based on my husband's schedule. For example some days may involve more childcare and on other days it may be more include more housekeeping and meal-preparation if both parents happen to be off work and can care for the baby. We are looking for someone who can take initiative with what needs to be done to keep our home running smoothly. Our requirements for this position are comfort with infant care, light housekeeping and meal preparation.



Reliability and responsibility are of course very importance to us as well. ECE and driving are not required but would be assets, especially ECE. We are somewhat flexible with hours required
- looking for 3 days a week from approximately 7:30-3:30 or 8:00-4:00. We would also have extra hours available if desired on evenings and weekends depending on my husband's schedule. Start date is adaptable. We are offering $25-35/hour for this role depending on qualifications (ie ECE) and experience.
