Support TFI’s foodservice customers through equipment repair, preventative maintenance, and skilled service delivered onsite and offsite.
As a Field Service Technician, you will help keep customer businesses operating by addressing equipment issues promptly. The position covers installations, maintenance, testing, repairs, service requests, and customer concerns across specialty foodservice equipment. Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication are central to daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair FCB, soft serve, and espresso equipment
- Service fryers, combi ovens, and clamshell grills
- Respond to on-call emergencies on selected evenings and weekends
- Recommend system improvements and recognize additional service opportunities
- Train with technicians on preventative maintenance procedures
Requirements:
- Trade school or college diploma considered an asset
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions in English
- Ability to multitask and establish priorities
- Knowledge of workplace compliance regulations and legislation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
